The PS4 controller can be connected to a PS5.You can't play PS4 games on PS5 if you have a dualshock 4.If you want to play any PS5 games, you'll need to get the controller.
Step 1: The PS4 controller needs to be plugged into your PS5 console.
It's easy to find the charging cable that comes with the PS4 controller at any electronics retailer.The charging cables that come with PS5 controllers are not the same cables as the ones on the PS4 controllers.
Step 2: You can assign the controller to one of the profiles.
You can see a list of all the profiles on the system.Go to the profile you want to use and press the button.
Step 3: Plug the cable and keep playing.
You don't need the cable for the immediate connection from your controller to the console.
Step 4: Go to settings on the console.
You need to be able to navigate through the menus.The gear icon can be found in the top right corner if you use the thumbstick and press the button.
Step 5: Go to "Accessories" and press.
The icon of an external keyboard and controller can be found at the bottom of the settings menu.
Step 6: Press if you want to go to "Bluetooth accessories".
Under "Registered accessories" you'll see a list of your connected devices as well as any disconnected or unpaired devices.
Step 7: Put your controller in the right position.
The PS button is centered at the bottom of the controller and the share button in the top left corner.The controller has a light on the back of it.The PS4 controller will appear on your screen once it's in pair mode.
Step 8: Press to navigate to your controller.
You have to do this on the controller that's connected to the PS5.
Step 9: Press if you want to go to "Yes".
You will be able to use the controller in the next step if you agree to connect it.
Step 10: Pick which profile you want to assign the controller to.
Go to the profile you want to use and press the button, the remote is tied to that profile.
