Microfiber cloths can be used to clean up dust around your home. They need to be cleaned separately from other items in order to prolong their life. They should be washed by hand in clean water, or in a washing machine with liquid laundry detergent, then hung to dry to prevent lint from building up in the dryer.microfiber cloths will last for hundreds of uses if you follow the proper cleaning procedure.
Step 1: Put the dirty cloths in a bucket.
A big bucket is enough to hold all the cloths you want to wash.Allow the cloths to soak for a few minutes. It's best to wash microfiber cloths that have been used to clean dry messes. You will need to machine wash dirtier cloths.
Step 2: Use your hands to move the cloths around in the water.
Dust and other debris can be loosened by swirling the microfiber cloths around in the bucket of water. You can do this for a few minutes.Do not use detergent or other cleaning products for this method. You don't have to do much to get dust and dirt out.
Step 3: Under the cool running water, rinse the cloths and wring out the excess water.
Take each cloth out and hold it under a running tap to rinse it out.To prevent the cloths from dripping, ring out the excess water. If you don't get the dirt and dust out of the cloths, you will need to wash them in a washing machine.
Step 4: Let the cloths air dry.
Hang each cloth separately from other items. Before using them to clean again, let them air dry.Don't dry microfiber cloths in a drying machine. The drying machines have a lot of lint and dust.If you have to dry them in a machine, then they should be tumble dried with no heat and apart from other items.
Step 5: Liquid laundry detergent can be used to treat stains.
Rub a drop of liquid laundry detergent into the stain with the tip of a finger. Before you wash the cloth, let it soak in for 5 minutes.Microfiber cloths can be washed to clean in the kitchen, bathroom, or after each use.
Step 6: The dirty cloths should be put in the washing machine.
Microfiber cloths should be washed separately from cotton clothing. They will not be able to pick up more lint. The microfiber bristles will decrease their effectiveness if certain types of fabrics rub against them.
Step 7: If you have a machine that uses liquid detergent, you should put 1/2 of it in it.
Do not use powdered laundry detergent because it can damage microfibers. After you put detergent in the laundry machine, close it.
Step 8: The washing machine can run on either cold or warm water.
The microfibers can be damaged by hot water, so use cold or warm water.Cold or warm water can be used to clean the cloths.Microfiber cloths will retain their effectiveness if they are washed correctly. When they start to feel rough, replace them.
Step 9: Hang the cloth to dry.
If you want to hang the cloths on the laundry line, remove them from the washing machine. If you can, hang them in the sun.Microfiber cloths are very absorbent. They should be ready to use within an hour.If you can't wait this long for them to dry, then only tumble dry them with no heat and separate them from other items.
