How To Change Your Relationship Status on Facebook
You want to shout out love from the highest peaks if you're in love or out of love.There is no higher peak than Facebook.You can change your relationship status using either the mobile app or the website.
Step 1: You can open your profile in the app.
You can open the Facebook app on your device.If you tap the Menu button in the upper-right corner, you'll see your name at the top of the screen.The Menu button is in the bottom-right corner of the screen.

Click the Year menu if you want to display your anniversary.The month and day menu will appear when you pick the year.It is optional to enter your anniversary.
Step 8: You should set your privacy settings.
The Privacy menu in the relationship editor section allows you to choose who can see your relationship status.By default, your friends will be able to see your relationship status, but you can change this to public, hidden, or custom.To see the choices, tap More Options.
Step 9: You can save your settings.
You can save the information by tapping the Save button.If you have set your relationship status with another Facebook user, they will be sent a message asking to confirm that they are in the relationship with you.Your status will show up in your profile once they confirm.If the person is already in a relationship with someone else, Facebook will not allow you to change it.A person can't be in relationships with multiple people on Facebook.
Step 10: Go to your profile editor.
Go to the website.Click on your name in the upper- left corner of the Facebook home page.You can change your profile by clicking the "Update info" button.
Step 11: You can click on family and relationships.
There is a button in the left sidebar that will take you to the relationship section.
Step 12: You can select your relationship status.
Click "add your relationship status" first if you haven't set a relationship yet.You can choose to be single, married, engaged, in a civil union, and more.You can remove Relationship Status from your profile.It's a silent action to remove yourself from a relationship.The person you broke off with won't get a notification of the status change.Anyone who looks at your timeline will see the change.
Step 13: The person you are in a relationship with can be entered.
If they're a Facebook user, their name will appear as a clickable option below the text field.
Step 14: Your anniversary is entered.
If you want to show off your anniversary, use the menus.It is possible to enter the anniversary.
Step 15: You should set your privacy settings.
