Step 1: It's time to restart your computer.
Click the power icon if you want to press the Windows key.If you want your computer to shut down, all your running programs need to be closed.
Step 2: When you see the screen, press the startup key.
Most of the time, you'll need to press the or key, but that may vary depending on your computer's manufacturer.There are keys at the top of the keyboard.If your computer starts up too fast for you to press the key, you can access the boot menu.
Step 3: If prompted, select enter setup.
After the startup key is pressed, some computers will have a screen prompt.Many of these systems don't use mouse input, so you'll need to use keyboard arrows and a key to navigate through the menus.
Step 4: Go to the boot tab.
To get to the right, use the arrow keys on your keyboard.A legend at the bottom of the screen tells you which keys do what.
Step 5: You can move items on the boot screen by pressing + or -.
When you boot, you'll see a list of what is priority.If you have a CD inserted, your computer will attempt to boot from the CD if it is listed first.You can change the order of the menu as you please.Use if you want to change the settings.
Step 6: Press F10
The key is used to save and exit the menu.You have to select once before this process is done.
