You can learn how to start your computer with Command Prompt open.This process is not the same as starting Command Prompt on a computer.Command Prompt only works on Windows.
Step 1: The start is open.
The Windows logo can be found in the bottom- left corner of the screen.Click the lock screen if you're turning on a computer instead.You will see a password field.
Step 2: You can click power.
The start menu has this in it.A menu will appear.If you clicked the lock screen after turning on your computer, this icon will be in the lower-right side of the screen.
Step 3: Hold down.
Hold the key down until you are told to release it.
Step 4: Click restart.
It is in the menu.If you hold down Shift, your computer will restart into the Advanced Options menu.The process can take anywhere from a few seconds to a minute, so make sure you hold down the Shift key.
Step 5: When you see a blue screen, release.
The Advanced Options menu has some options.The Shift key can be let go once the blue screen appears.
Step 6: Click to find out how to fix it.
It's a picture of a screwdriver and a wrench.It will take you to another page if you do that.
Step 7: Click the advanced options.
There is an option at the top of the screen.
Step 8: Click Command Prompt.
It is on the right side of the screen.
Step 9: You have to enter a password.
Click on the lower-right side of the screen if you want to type your Microsoft account password into the text field.Command Prompt can't be opened with your computer's PIN.
Step 10: Wait for Command Prompt to start.
Command Prompt can be used once the window opens.When you're done with Command Prompt, you can click the red in the top-right corner of the window and then click on the blue screen to restart Windows normally.
