You can learn how to promote your video or photo when you use an iPad or iPhone.To promote a post on the associated Facebook page, you have to have a Business Profile and be an admin.
Step 1: You can change your profile to a business one.
Business Profiles posts can be promoted for advertising.If you want to create a brand new profile for your business, you can use Add a Business Profile onInstagram.If you want to convert your personal account to a Business Profile, open it and tap the profile icon at the bottom-right corner.The gear button is in the top section.If it's private, make it public by using the first option under "Privacy and Security" and sliding the switch to the white position.When done, press the back button.Click and scroll down.Follow the instructions on the screen.Choose your business's Page when prompted to link your account.If you don't already have a Page admin, ask a current one to add you so you can boost your posts.When you are done, use the back button to return to your feed.
Step 2: Go to your profile and tap the post you want to promote.
You can get to your profile now if you tap the profile icon at the bottom-right corner.Promoted posts need to meet community standards.Make sure your post is in line with the advertising policies of the two websites.
Step 3: Promote below the post.
There will be a list of options.
Step 4: What do you want your audience to do?
tap if the post will lead people to your website.Select if you want people to see the advertisement and then call or visit your business.
Step 5: You can select the button text.
You can see it below the bottom-right corner of your photo or video.
Step 6: The text should be on your button.
You will see the text on your post if you select it.The button tells the audience what to do.Pick if you want people to view the post and then sign up on your website.The sign-up website can be accessed by people who see your add.
Step 7: You can enter the address, phone number, or website.
The purpose of your button and post is what determines the information you enter.To type the URL, address, phone number, or other text, tap the typing area just below the Action Button text.
Step 8: You can choose an audience.
Under the ”AUDIENCE” section, you have the option to allow Instagram to choose an audience based on their algorithm or demographic information.To specify a group of users to advertise to, select and then tailor your audience based on location, interests, age, and other details.You can easily pick this audience later if you type a name for it at the top of the page.To allow your post to be seen by more people, select.
Step 9: Pick your budget by scrolling down.
There are options for the amount of money you want to spend to boost your post.If you want to specify an amount, select one of the suggested dollar values.
Step 10: You can choose a date range by scrolling down.
You can choose the amount of time you want your post to remain boosted.If you want to specify a length of time, select one of the suggested amounts.
Step 11: Click next to scroll up.
It is at the top of the page.
Step 12: Take a moment to review your order.
Make any last-minute changes now.If you haven't entered a payment method and there is no payment option associated with the connected Facebook page, you will be prompted to do so before placing the order.You can see a preview of your ad by tapping at the top left corner.
Step 13: To pay for your promotion, tap Promote.
It can take up to an hour for your promotion to be approved.You will receive a notification once the post is approved.
Step 14: You should monitor your promotion.
If you want to see how a promoted post is doing, you can tap the heart icon at the bottom of the photo sharing website.New insights will appear when people see and engage with your post.If you want to stop promoting your post early, tap at the bottom of the page.
