You only have the ability to insert a row or column in the mobile app if you use the desktop version.If you're using the mobile app, you can get pointers on adding rows and columns if you use the desktop browser.
Step 1: You can open your document in Sheets.
If you want to add cells to the spreadsheet, you can log in and double-click to open it.Clicking the multicolored plus icon will create a new document.You can use the mobile app on multiple devices.
Step 2: To add the cell, navigate to where you want to.
You need to find the location where you want to insert a(n) additional cell by using your fingers or scrolling.
Step 3: Click the cell next to the one you want to add.
A drop-down menu is what you'll get.An insert menu will appear at the bottom of your screen if you use the mobile app.
Step 4: Select Shift right or Shift down when you hover over the Insert cells.
This will add a blank cell.To insert a row or column in the mobile app, tap one of the Insert options.
Step 5: You can open your document in Sheets.

Step 6: The number of cells, rows, or columns should be highlighted.
If you want to add 7 cells in a row, highlight the cells that are touching each other.Clicking and dragging over the spreadsheet will allow you to do this.The key can be held between the first and second selections.
Step 7: Click the highlighted area.
A menu will appear at the top of your screen.
Step 8: Click on the cells/rows/columns you want to insert.
Depending on how many cells you highlighted, the language will vary.
