Can children go to Eton?
Welcome to Eton College, a boarding school for boys aged between 13 and 18. Everyone at Eton works hard to create an exciting, stimulating and caring environment, to enable each boy to reach his full potential. A boy may be registered up until 30 June of the school year he turns 10 (UK school Year 5).
Is there a waiting list for Eton?
Each year roughly 1,300 boys will apply to Eton, with 240 successfully winning 'A' places. Those close behind will be offered 'B' places on a waitlist, with a second round taking place in Y7 to reevaluate the cohort. The test gets harder if you do well and this is something for boys to relish, not fear.28 Dec 2021
