How much does it cost to get a TB test at Walgreens?
Tests are administered Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday from 9:00 AM – 4:00 PM. No Appointment is necessary. The cost is $20. Test results must be read within 48 – 72 hours after the test has been administered.
How do you take a TB test?
- The TB skin test is performed by injecting a small amount of fluid (called tuberculin) into the skin on the lower part of the arm.
- A person given the tuberculin skin test must return within 48 to 72 hours to have a trained health care worker look for a reaction on the arm.
How long does it take to get TB test results?
The skin test reaction should be read between 48 and 72 hours after administration by a health care worker trained to read TST results. A patient who does not return within 72 hours will need to be rescheduled for another skin test.
How bad do TB tests hurt?
