How do you stain a deck that has been painted?
- PREP - Sweep away any leaves or other debris.
- WATER DROP TEST - Deck is ready when droplets are absorbed.
- CLEAN - Apply with pump sprayer or watering can. Wait 15 minutes. Mist cleaner with garden hose to keep wet.
- STAIN - Apply even coat with wood grain. Work in with brush. Wait 4 hours between coats.
Does SuperDeck need 2 coats?
For best results, apply 2 coats. The first coat will fill in cracks while the second coat will build to proper mil thickness of coating.
