Sideline numbers were designed to help you keep your business and personal life separate on one device. When you place a call through Sideline, your receiver will see your Sideline number, not your registered number or pilot number. Sideline does not allow you to block your Caller ID.
Can you text a sideline number?
To make a call or send a text with your Sideline number, just open the app. To access settings, tap the gear icon in the top left corner of your inbox. From there, you can set custom ringtones, record a voicemail greeting, and more.
How do I stop sideline calls?
- In the inbox: Swipe left over the conversation you wish to block.
- Tap 'Block'
- Once you tap Block, a new message will pop-up confirming that you want to block this contact.
- Tap Block, and you'll have successfully blocked this number.
What does on the side lines mean?
Observing rather than taking part, out of the action, as in Bolivia's neighbors remained on the sidelines, waiting to see which faction in the dispute would prevail. This idiom comes from sports.
How does the app sideline work?
You get to talk and text from a dedicated business line—and because it's a real phone number, you can call and text anyone, even landlines. Your second number works just like your first. Separate caller IDs, notifications, and ringtones make it clear who's contacting you. For outbound communication, just open Sideline.
What is sideline validation code text?
Sideline supports a variety of validation/verification codes that we get through our provider, which helps to verify ownership of an account with a forgotten password (for example).
