How do police drug test kits work?
All test kits work in a similar way. Normally, a police officer will deposit a portion of the questionable substance into a vial of pink-colored liquid. These tubes are broken in sequence and the response of the liquid is assessed for the presence of an illegal substance and helps determine what the substance is.
How do you test something for drugs?
For a blood test for drugs, you will go to a lab to provide your sample. During the test, a health care professional will take a blood sample from a vein in your arm, using a small needle. After the needle is inserted, a small amount of blood will be collected into a test tube or vial.
How long are Nik tests good for?
Agitate the solution in the pouch and watch for the color change(s). Next, compare the color(s) of the solution to the color(s) printed on each pouch. Reagent shelf life is indefinite if stored out of direct sunlight and at room temperature.
