The use of FPV drones and goggles is legal in both the United Kingdom and the United States, but to fly an FPV drone you'll need an observer who can maintain visual line of sight with the aircraft and communicate this with the pilot.
Are all FPV goggles compatible?
Because we are all unique, there are no one-size fits all goggles here. Fortunately, most manufacturers allow for IPD adjustment, so you can move the lenses/screens to get them to be perfectly aligned with your eyes. Most FPV goggles have an IPD adjustment range between 59-69mm.
What is diversity in FPV?
Diversity in the literal sense means a variety, or in Quad terms more than one. Traditionally receivers, both Radio and FPV Video receivers, made use of a single receiving module. Radio and Video receivers process the input based on the amount of RSSI received by them, also known as Received signal strength indication.
What is diversity receiver?
In wireless microphone applications, diversity receivers are often used to improve reception of RF signals. A diversity receiver utilizes two separate, independent antenna systems. The receiver looks at the signal coming in from the each antenna, and determines which one is the stronger.
