The Match is used by applicants and programs to determine the final placement of applicants into positions after the application and evaluation process is completed. Most (but not all) programs that participate in the Match also participate in ADEA PASS.
Can you add programs after submitting ADEA pass?
You may apply to additional programs after your original application has been processed. You may do this by logging into your ADEA PASS application and selecting additional programs in the Program Designations Section.

The Postdoctoral Dental Matching Program (the Dental Match) provides an orderly process to help applicants obtain positions in postdoctoral dental education programs of their choice, and to help programs obtain applicants of their choice. The American Dental Education Association (ADEA) Associated American Dental Schools Application Service (AADSAS) is the centralized application service for predental applicants. A DENTPIN® is a unique identification number assigned to each applicant and student in dental education and standardized testing programs.
How long does it take for Aadsas to verify application?
ADEA AADSAS processing, including transcript verification, generally takes about one month. Remember that your AADSAS application is not considered complete until ADEA AADSAS receives your online application, fee payment, and official transcripts from every college and university attended.
When can you submit Aadsas application?
The 2021-22 ADEA AADSAS® (ADEA Associated American Dental Schools Application Service) application will open on May 11 and submissions will open on June 1. Applicants can use the extra weeks to begin completing, reviewing and strengthening the application before submitting in June.
Can you submit Aadsas application?
Once you have completed all of the required sections of ADEA AADSAS, you can submit the application. The application can be submitted before ADEA AADSAS receives your documents. All applicants are encouraged to submit the application as early as possible in the cycle, well in advance of posted deadline dates.

You can make limited changes after you submit your application.
