Gogo entertainment is available on the App Store and the website of Alaska Airlines.
The new Gogo Entertainment Player brings the magic of the movies and TV to the sky and onto your iPad, iPhone, or iPod Touch. The latest movies and TV shows can be watched on the Inflight Entertainment service. You can download the player and enjoy the show.
It is essential to watch free films.Quite bad.I own an iPad.You can use it to watch films in Alaska. You can rent the digiplayer for $9.99.I stopped travelling with my iPad because it was pointless. All of the free movies are old.You are confused as to why you don't have access to the same films since they advertise them that way, but the only new films are on the digiplayer. The app doesn't work very well. How hard is it to make a functional app?Apparently it is hard. This thing has no bones. It is like roboticists made the app. These guys are terrible at interface. It feels like you are going to die if you use a windows 97 media player on a 333mhz computer.
Over the last three months, I have flown on several Alaska Airlines flights with 2 kids and an iPad, which use the app.My kids were in tears because the movie app worked for half the flight, but not the other, or it didn't work at all. After the first flight when it didn't work, I reached out to their customer service for help, and was told I needed to use their chat feature while in flight to trouble shoot. The app is no longer available after you land. When you send them an email with screen shots of your issues, they only reply with the inflight chat. When I wrote to them saying I tried that, but it wouldn't work, they said "chat is always available", which is flat out BS because I even showed the flight attendant and spoke with others around me having the same issues, and not one of us could use the inIf it works, then download it, but don't count on it being your main source of inflight entertainment because chances are, it will not work for you.
