Dooney and Bourke registration number can be checked.
I just read that you have a question about the J in your number, so I am reposting it here.I was getting a little worried because I wasn't finding ones like everyone else.I found the place where it was made.Dooney has never used Japan, but the J is for China along with the other letter. It took me a while to find it.I'm still trying to figure out the style mine and hope this helps.
Thanks, David.I bought a Dooney in front of the registration numbers. The front of the purse has the words "Dooney Bourke" written in script. There is a purse with white stitching.I am concerned about the authenticity because I have heard that all Dooneys are made with yellow.I'm also trying to find the style. It should be easy because it is not vintage.I hope so!
Does it mean that C H I M & J are all fucked?Do you know if Bourbon bags are being made in these counties??
There are bags with red white and blue tags that are not being manufactured in these countries. They should have a leather tag next to the red white and blue one.
Does this mean that the Dooney & Bourke bag I received today is a fake and not made in the USA?
How do I fix a loose turn lock on a vintage Dooney bag?It is tight and not nice.It is unreliable in keeping the bag closed.Any information anyone has would be appreciated.
I received a small handbag with poker chips and playing cards as a gift in the 1980's.There is a red, white, blue label.I want to know how the number references the purse.I know it was made in the US, but does the number refer to the year and style?I have not been able to get any information or value on the purse.
I am waiting for a response to your question as well.I don't know how to read the serial numbers beyond the first two which represent the factory location in the US.What about the other 6 digits?

When I bought a Dooney & Bourke purse at Macy's, there was a registration card inside the purse that I had to use to register the bag online. The purse I bought for myself at Macy's was made in China, but the label starts with the letter J, so I usually don't spend this kind of money on myself. This is a knock off?Do you have a D&B registration card inside?
I don't think Macy's would sell counterfeit bags. The majority of Dooney & Bourke bags have been made outside of the US, such as China and other places. The original bags that are Made in USA are the ones we love and sell.Dooney-Bourke can be found at www.horsekeeping.com.
Good answer to Diana's questions about original Dooney.I have several D & B purses that are made in the USA and other countries. If the customer wants D & B to verify the serial numbers, they can.It would be great if the D & B brought the full assemblable aspect to the states, but they still do some of the assembly in Connecticut.
I need your help to know if these are authentic.Thank you.
The first bag in this article is an Essex in all British Tan.Since I can't see your bag, you have to do the valuation. Here is one in each size in our store.
I have a Dooney purse and I am told it is but the tag is red and blue and it states made in China but on the back of it there is a number that starts with a k.?
My previous reply can be found here.We don't deal with bags made in China. It is possible to find a similar bag on eBay.Paula.
I didn't see a number on the SeWIN TAG when I registered for a bag with a registration card and style and color number. There is a US flag on the button.
The serial begins with bags made in Costa Rica H, J, K, L, and M-Assembled in Mexico, as well as in Italy and China.A & B are made in the USA.
Here are the wallets that you can choose from.
My purse has a sticker on it.It reads "SB45BB, Tassel Tote, 86188506".There is a red, white and blue label. Is this a legit purse?Any idea when it was manufactured?
As much as these bags cost, we need them to be the real thing, Dooney & Bourke is playing dangerously with your names.
I have a vintage doony that needs serial numbers to know what I am sitting on.Ty j ginson.
What year was this made?Is there a way to lighten the leather? It's a bit dull. Thanks in advance!
I found a Dooney &Burke bag. There is a number 1 on the back of the bag.I have looked all over the internet to find out if the bag means anything or when it was made.I have never seen another like it.The person who gave me the serial number said it was authentic. Can you tell me anything about this bag?Thank you.
