Colin Creevey's death was the most sad thing to happen to the Harry Potter character.

Colin was born on 3 May 1981 and died on 2 May 1998 at the age of 16.

Colin was the older brother of Dennis and was a wizard.A year ahead of him in school, he was a big fan of the famous Harry Potter.

He was sorted into Gryffindor House during his first year at Hogwarts.He took pictures of Harry and other students.He and Dennis became members of the organisation taught and led by Harry Potter.Colin was kicked out of Hogwarts due to the policy of not allowing Muggle-borns to attend the school.He snuck into the Room of Requirement and fought in the Battle of Hogwarts, but was killed by the Death Eaters.

Colin was a member of a normal Muggle family.He was the son of a milkman and was surprised to learn he was a wizard.Colin was fascinated by the wizarding world.Colin had a younger brother named Dennis who was also a wizard, an unusual occurrence for two magical offspring to come from Muggle parents.

Colin attended Hogwarts in 1992.He was put in the right place.He was very fond of the ground that Harry Potter walked on.At one point he asked for a signed photo of Harry, but then he told everyone he was giving out signed photos.Colin accused Malfoy of being jealous.He was amazed that he could take pictures.[7]

He got a photo with a celebrity.However, the photographic Harry had refused to appear on the photo, but just about managed to drag him into view.Colin said he would go with Harry because he had never watched a game before, as he was in a rush to get to practice.Colin went along despite Harry trying to stop him.[8]

Colin kept asking Harry questions as they walked to the pitch.He inquired about flying, whether the Nimbus 2000 was Harry's broomstick, if it was the best broom there was, and the rules of quidditch which Harry resigned to.Colin kept asking more questions until Harry shook him off at the changing rooms.[8]

Colin sat in the stands and asked Harry to look at him while he took a photo.When Colin saw Ron protecting Hermione from Malfoy, he went up to them and asked Harry to turn him around.[8]

Colin tried to tell Harry what one of the boys in his class had been saying, but he got lost in the crowd and didn't know what to say.

Colin was at the Quidditch match where he clicked his camera.He took photos of Harry even though Harry told him not to.He began taking more pictures when he saw that Harry had bones in his broken arm.10

Colin was petrified by the Basilisk when he sneaked up to the Hospital Wing to give Harry grapes.He only looked at the snake's eye through the lens of his camera, which saved his life.His body was seen in the Hospital Wing when Harry and Ron were visiting.He was revived by a Mandrake Draught.[2]

Colin's second year of education at Hogwarts was quieter than his first and he was likely to keep his head down to avoid any trouble after the Basilisk incident.Colin was one of the students that stayed behind at the castle because he was too young.He was with Harry Potter, who did not have his permission slip signed.In order to avoid Colin, Harry lied and said he needed to return a book to the library.[13]

Colin told Harry Potter to cross his fingers because he wanted Dennis to be sorted into the house with him.Dennis whispered to Colin that he had fallen from the boat as he walked up to the chair.Colin said it was probably the giant squid that pulled him from the lake.Colin was happy that Dennis was in the same house.It was [13].

Colin was sent to collect Harry from his Potions class.After Colin interrupted his class, he begrudgingly let Harry leave and take his belongings with him, even though he was annoyed with Colin.Colin wished Harry good luck and told him that photographs would be taken of him for the Daily Prophet.There are no comments at this time.

Before the First Task of the Triwizard Tournament, Dennis and his brother got hold of a stack of support literature.They tried to bewitch them to support Harry Potter.They only managed to get them stuck onTTER and POTTER really Stinks.He was likely manipulated by Rita to give info on Harry's love life, as he is quoted saying that Harry was hardly ever seen out of the company of Hermione, a quote with which Colin may have unintentionally started the theory that Hermione was his girlfriend.[15]

At the end of the year, it was announced that Tom Riddle had returned after he was killed by Peter Pettigrew.It would have caused a lot of anxiety for Colin and his brother Dennis, as they were likely to be scared by the rumour of his rise to power.

Colin's fourth year would be a year of rebellion.The previous school year ended with the start of the Second Wizarding War.It wasn't officially announced that Harry Potter's claims that Voldemort had returned were true.The events that took place in Colin's third year led to the creation of the Ministry to watch over Hogwarts.Umbridge was not what the students wanted her to be, she was a cruel and incompetent teacher who refused to teach defensive spells to any students.

With students not being taught Defence Against the Dark Arts in a practical manner, Ron Weasley, and Harry Potter formed an alliance to help students learn how to defend themselves.The first meeting of the D.A. was attended by Colin and his brother.Both of them expressed shock at learning that Harry had defeated the Basilisk at school.Colin and his brother Dennis joined the alliance and were taught defensive magic by Harry, causing several books to fly off bookshelves during practise.He was able to master the Impediment Jinx after three meetings.[18]

It's not known what happened to Colin during his fifth year.After the first match of the season, Colin and Dennis applauded Harry Potter and wanted a detailed blow by blow analysis.[19]

The Battle of the Astronomy Tower occurred when Death Eaters entered Hogwarts.Colin was not one of the few members who actually showed up for battle.It is not known whether he stayed out of battle or not.Colin might have stayed for the funeral to show his respects to Albus, but there was no mention of him taking pictures during the procession.

Death Eaters took over Hogwarts in 1997.Colin and his brother Dennis were unable to attend the school due to the policy of not allowing Muggle-borns.The Muggle-born wizards and witches were to be put on trial for how they came to possess a wand and the Creeveys went into hiding.

Colin returned when he was called, even though his blood status prevented him from being taught at Hogwarts.Colin was dismissed from the castle by McGonagall for being under the age of 18.[20]

He was killed in the first half of the battle and his body was found outside the Great Hall by Longbottom and Wood.The others that had fallen were placed in the Great Hall.Colin's sacrifice was not in vain, as the other defenders of Hogwarts defeated all Death Eaters present.The Second Wizarding War ended when Lord Voldemort died at the hands of Harry Potter.

Colin was very excited.He was excited when he first arrived.He was a big fan of Harry Potter.It is possible that he had a bit of hero worship for Harry, as he was constantly in awe of what he did in their first year together.He was presumed to be trying to sneak into the hospital wing to visit Harry after he was attacked by the basilisk.During the Triwizard Tournament, he and his brother tried to bewitch a number of "Potter Stinks" badges to support Harry, which backfired as they only made the badges say "potter really stinks".The hero worship may have reached its peak when he returned to Hogwarts, despite not being a student anymore.[20]

He was always taking pictures in his first year.It was partly due to him taking pictures at bad times, such as when Ron waslching and Harry lost his arm.He was thought to have been chosen for an attack by the monster in the Chamber of Secrets due to his behavior.

At the Battle of Hogwarts, Colin was killed by the Death Eaters, even though he was not allowed by Professor McGonagall to go back in.[20]

Colin had a good relationship with his family.His father worked as a milkman.Colin stated that his parents were very excited that their son was a wizard, and that he wanted to take some photos of Hogwarts in order to show his father.When Dennis came to Hogwarts, Colin was excited because he was also close with his brother.Colin's family was likely devastated when he was killed.

Colin was a huge fan of Harry Potter.Colin thought Harry was a celebrity, but he didn't like being famous.Harry found Colin annoying when he tried to take a photo of Ron Weasley.Colin thought that he was Harry's best friend.

He took many pictures of Harry.He and Dennis tried to make badges for the Triwizard Tournament.In his fourth year, he and his brother believed that Harry did not lie.The Creeveys became members of the organisation founded by Harry.Harry was sad when he saw Colin's dead body outside of Hogwarts, despite his initial annoyance, as he had grown to care a lot for the younger student.
