lint can increase drying time. There is a lint screen in the dryer. You can see an indicator light on the control panel to remind you to clean the lint screen.Once the door is opened, the indicator light will turn off.
Don't run the dryer if the lint screen is loose, damaged, or missing. It can cause damage to the dryer and fabrics.Check the exhaust hood and remove the lint if it falls into the dryer.
Laundry detergent can accumulate on the lint screen. This can cause the dryer to stop before the load is completely dry, or cause longer drying times for your clothes. If the lint falls off, the screen is likely to be blocked.
The lint screen should be cleaned with a nylon brush at least 6 months a year.
