Cell formulas are printed on an excel spreadsheet.
When you add formulas to your spreadsheet, they are hidden.You can change the formulas on your sheet to show them instead of the formula results.A special character can be added to the front of your sheet if you just need to show a single formula.
Step 1: You should be able to see the formulas you want to show.
Go to the workbook and open it.Double-clicking the file to open it directly is what you can do when you start up excel.
Step 2: Press

You can print the spreadsheet with your formulas displayed.The Print button can be found on the Home tab or in the File menu.To open the Print window, you can either use the Windows or Mac commands.
Step 4: Press the button to switch back to formula results.
The formula cells will be returned to the formula results.
Step 5: You can click the Formulas tab.
This tab can be found in all versions of excel since 2007.
Step 6: You can show Formulas by clicking the button.
The formula cells will display the formulas instead of the results.If you are using a Mac, you can show Formulas.You can't show the formula and result at the same time.
Step 7: The formulas are displayed in the spreadsheet.
When your formulas appear in their cells, you can print your spreadsheet and use the results as a guide.The Print option can be found in the Home tab or the File menu.
Step 8: To switch back to results, click the "Show Formulas" button again.
Clicking the "Show Formulas" button again will show the formula results in each cell.
Step 9: Click the cell you want to show.
All of the cells in your sheet are affected by the "Show Formula" option.You can use a common workaround if you want to show a single cell.You can change the formula cell by double-clicking it.
Step 10: The front of the formula is where your cursor should be.
Adding a character to the front of the formula will make it visible.
Step 11: Add a.
The formula will be stopped by this character.
Step 12: Press
This will add the character and show the formula.You'll see the single formula in the cell if you hid the'that you added.
Step 13: You can print the document.
You can print the document if you display all of the formulas you want.There is a Print option in the Home tab.You can also press Command+P.

Double-click the formula cell and remove the'character from the front' when you're ready to show the results again.The formula results will be displayed again when you press Enter/ Return.
