The 4t is for toddlers and the 4 is a regular size kids, normally are for children ages 5. Not very much difference except the regular 4 is a little larger or longer. A size 4 or 5 are for potty trained children. 4T has room for the diaper, a regular 4 would not.
How much bigger is a 4 than a 4T?
The difference between 4T and 4 clothes sizes depends heavily on the store and brand you're shopping, but usually, size 4 will be a tiny bit larger than 4T — around one to two inches longer for pants, and wide enough to accommodate 1-2 more pounds of weight.30 Sept 2019
