Are planter's nuts free of gluten?

I've heard people say that they're free of the disease, but others say they aren't.I had a container of planter's cashews that I ate a few days ago and I haven't been feeling great since.I woke up yesterday with a throbbing head, but I thought I was fine.Every once in a while I'll have stomach pains.They last for a few minutes and then go away.I wouldn't have a reaction immediately after eating them.I ate some on Thursday and Friday and didn't feel sick until Saturday.It's been a while since I've had a reaction like that.Maybe I'm paranoid and I ate too many cashews.That was the only thing I've eaten in the last 2 weeks that wasn't the same.
I have had similar reactions to Planters products even though they are not listed in the allergens.It didn't occur to me that I might be getting zapped from them until recently when I ate some of their Salt and Vinegar almonds and became really ill and realized I had reacted to them before.The 'Hermans' brand nuts, which have never mentioned wheat in their allergies, now carry a 'processed in a plant that processes wheat' warning.I wonder if all nuts are processed in the same way and if nut products should be considered unsafe.Regardless of whether wheat is listed or not, I will not trust the Planters brand anymore.

It's hard to digest nuts.I can handle small amounts of walnuts and cashews.I can eat peanuts, but prefer peanut butter as it is easier to digest.Is that correct?My nut symptoms have nothing to do with the fact that I have purchased certified gluten-free nuts..

I have an allergy to a few foods, so I was wondering about that.I was eating cashews all the time a few weeks ago and had no problems at all.I wonder if I have developed an allergy to them since then.
I don't know if they're made on shared lines, but I'll give them a call.I'm very sensitive to cross contamination.It will make me sick if something is made in the same facility but not on shared lines.I'm not sure if that's true.
What if it was something else that made you sick?Maybe you ate too much of a good thing.I broke my back when I ate too much fried chicken, vomited and passed out.Paramedics thought I was having a heart attack.No.It was a lot of bones.It's not good to overload with a damaged gut.Maybe you got some nuts that were contaminated.Anything that is processed is suspect.It might be too much for some people.We all have different levels of sensitivity.The old 20 parts per million is just a guideline, but science doesn't really know lack of funding
My husband has been free of the disease for 15 years.I tried to eat the foods that I normally gave him when I was first diagnosed.He was healed but I was not.There are things that make me feel like I have been discriminated against, but it's just an intolerance.I have to make my own bread unless I use a different gum.I do without because I am too lazy.
If you really want to know if cashews are good for you, ask your doctor if you should lay them off and use a certified nut.I would like this to be easier.
Three years ago, there was a test of Planter's honey roasted peanuts.The can did not state that it was free of ingrediants.The test result is less than 5 parts per million.
The product is called Planters.When it comes to wheat, it is always revealed in plain english by the company.If they are processed on the same lines, they will reveal it.If you look at the can of Planters, you will see that it is manufactured in a facility that processes other tree nuts and not peanuts.They are being very specific.I am assured that the above is correct and that I have called them before.
If you have concerns or just want to see if cashews in general cause a problem, try nuts, because I have never had a reaction to Planter's Nuts.They have fast delivery, and they have certified nuts.
I bought a bag of pistachios from nuts.com to see if I would also react to store bought pistachios.I know that more than a few pistachios from any source will not be good for me.

There is nothing but peanuts listed as the ingredient in my jar of Planter's dry roasted peanuts.
Looks like some flavors might have torula yeast.It should be free of wheat.If an ingredient comes from wheat, it's good to list it.It is a law in the US to label wheat.

I used to eat Bob's Red Mill oats, but I'm not sure if they're good for me or not.

Bob's Red Mill Oats are safe to drink.I have never had a problem with certified oats from Bob's.It doesn't get any better than what they and many other companies do.It may be that you can't eat oats.I have never had a problem with oats because I am sensitive to crumb levels.All of the major oat suppliers test their products.No one would buy them without that.If they want to sell to the Celiac crowd, they have to test it.
I have eaten the small bags of nuts that contained cashews and raisins.I never had a problem with them.The Kirkland did not bother me at all, I usually don't buy nuts except from nuts.com.When it comes to eating nuts in larger quantities, I use nuts.com and they are great and fresh.Some companies do a good job without being certified.I have been free of wheat for 11 years and have learned that something doesn't have to be certified as safe.It is possible to be trial and error.If you haven't been free of wheat for a long time, the fat in nuts may bother you.For a long time, that was one of my problems.Around the 8 year mark, I noticed that I could eat things I couldn't before.It took me a long time to get the harder stuff back into my diet.

I would love to eat the Bob's oats.I like oats and muesli.The symptoms were clear, and they stopped after the last time I ate them.It must be the oats themselves that I can't tolerate and cause problems for some but not others...guess I'm one of the latter.
I received an email from Bob's Red Mill on January 15, 2016 in response to my inquiry about whether or not they only use oats grown under a purity protocol or if they also source optically sorted oats.
Bob's Red Mill does not use only oats grown in fields.The email states that they use oats that have been sorted.I got a different response when I called them in December of 2015.I was told that they only use oats that are pure.When she inquired of them about the source of their oats, she had a similar experience.The phone call didn't reveal the use of oats, but the email did.
I think Bob's Red Mill is an excellent company and a good friend to the gluten free community.I believe they test all of their products forGluten-free.I think Bob's Red Mill products are safe for most people with celiacs.I'm perfectly clear about that.There are some people who are sensitive to minute levels of oats.I have found myself to be one of those.It's not because I was new to the diet.For the past 3 years, I have been eating whole foods.I got sick after using BRM products.My dh rash came back after I got sick with all the old symptoms.

It is pretty good at Udi's.I never had a problem with oats before I was diagnosed, but I am lucky that I can eat oats without any issues.The fiber content can bother people.Since diagnosis 11 years ago, I have tried about 3-4 brands of oats, and none of them have made me sick.I have gotten violently ill from a few crumbs.I will be able to test them soon.I want to test foods that people think are not safe because I am waiting on a new tester.It seems like it could be useful when I travel, and I couldn't help but buy it.
You can still eat oats down the road.It can take a long time for the gut to heal.Each year that passes in healing, I am able to eat more food than I ever could before, as I have stated before.The hardest things to digest are fat and fiber.

Planters are made by a company.The Planters are made on machines that only process nuts.They're the only ones I can eat.There may be issues with the cashews.I try to eat the mixed nuts as they are supposed to be better for you.

I break out in my rash.I looked at the whole thing.They use the same equipment to process their trail mixes as they do for the plain nuts.They refuse to market anything that isn't cross-contaminated.
This is a company that makes Planters nuts.The brand includes trail mixes and dessert-inspired mixes that are processed on the same equipment as its plain nuts and peanuts, but they are not labeled "gluten-free."
