Step 1: Remove the cap after shaking the bottle.

The medicine can flow freely if the spray is in the bottle.Push down on the pump several times until the spray comes out of the bottle.

The nozzle may be blocked if no spray comes out after primer.Lift the nozzle out of the bottle.Put the water from the tap in it.Before snapping it back onto the bottle, let it dry on a paper towel.The bottle should be primed again.If it doesn't release medicine, soak the nozzle in a cup of warm water.Before putting it back on the bottle, let it dry.The nozzle needs to be cleaned at least once a week.After rinsing the nozzle, prime the bottle again.

The nozzle should be pointed away from the center of their nose.To close their other nostril, use your finger.
Step 13: Ask your child to breathe in.
The child should sniff the medicine as you give it.To get the spray into their nose, press down on the nozzle.It's a good idea to let your child know what the medicine will feel like.Tell them that the medicine will not hurt them.
Step 14: The process should be done with the other nostril.
The nozzle should be moved to their other nostril.Use your finger to close the first nostril.As you release another spray, ask the child to sniff in again.Children only need a single spray in their noses.Ask your child's doctor to give you the right dose.
Step 15: You should clean the tip when you're done.
The tip should be wiped with a tissue or paper towel.The cap needs to be put back on.The store is out of the reach of children and pets.
Step 16: The doctor should be seen after 2 months of use.
Flonase should only be used for 2 months at a time.Call their doctor if they have any more symptoms.The doctor can perform a new examination or switch their medication.

Step 20: If your child is taking Flonase, make sure to monitor their growth.
Steroids may stunt children's growth.While your child is taking Flonase, keep an eye on their growth.If your child stops growing, talk to their doctor.Children shouldn't be using Flonase long enough to stunt their growth.If you're concerned that your child has been on the drug for an extended period of time, talk to your doctor.
