It's easy to act like a robot if you keep in mind the key elements. It's possible to create a very robot-like vibe without a robot costume at all.If you follow a few guidelines, you will be acting robotic in no time, whether you are practicing to perfect a Halloween costume or just playing a prank on your family and friends.
Step 1: To blink as little as possible, keep a blank expression.
Most robots don't have a reason to blink or change their facial expressions, so you have to work hard to keep your face frozen. There was no smiling or frowning. It might be easier to act like that type of robot.Slow your facial expressions down, blink slowly, and slightly delay your reactions. If you have a moment of privacy, put some rewetting eye drops in your pocket and use them whenever you need them.Keeping eye contact with people for long periods of time has been done by humans. If you have rapid eye movement, avoid it.You will need to move your eyes occasionally, but mechanically. If you want to avoid having your eyes dart around, try to move your entire head robotically.
Step 2: It's a good idea to use short phrases and speeches.
Speak slowly and use no sound.Technical jargon is used in response to everything. There are tech jargon generators on the internet that can give you a lot of information. Most people have no idea what tech jargon is, so don't worry about using it wrong. There are some key words to remember: firewall, operating system, interface, platform, processor, bandwidth, hard drive, microchip, network, mainframe, pixel, matrix, protocol, virus, fiber optics. There are some key verbs to remember. There is an app that makes robot sounds. You will need to be sitting or standing behind something so that your arm movements aren't obvious if you keep your cell in your pocket.
Step 3: First person speech can be used to show emotions.
No emotional reactions are displayed by the robots.Don't be aggressive and passive.Don't use the word "I" completely if you want to refer to yourself as a robot.Don't give any personal opinions to the robot.Refer to yourself as an operating system. You can give yourself a name with a combination of random numbers and letters.
Step 4: It's best to only respond to questions.
If you aren't being spoken to, be silent.Don't reply with a lot of words when someone asks you a question. If you don't know the answer, say, "File not found" or "My operating system is not programmed for the requested task."Say something like, "System error" if you are continually pressed or questioned after using that reply a few times. There is a performance design flaw.Theiating system shut down.
Step 5: Decide what you want to do and what to not do.
You can react the same way each time if you keep these in mind. You could be programmed to dance. If you're a dancing robot, the movement of other people around you would be yourtrigger.Start doing the robot dance when someone is near you.If someone is standing near you, keep dancing. You'll stop suddenly if someone walks by you quickly and is out of range.Being a robot that doesn't respond to commands is a possibility. You can respond to people in a variety of ways.
Step 6: Don't be seen eating, drinking or going to the bathroom.
Whenever you have a moment of privacy, you can grab some snack food and small bottles of water by hiding it in a few different places. If you have to go to the bathroom, make sure no one is around. If you're in public, sneak away to the least visible bathroom and pop in and out as fast as you can.You may want to limit the amount of fluid you take.
Step 7: Hold positions for a long period of time.
Unless there is a reason for the robot to do so, they don't move a lot.Stay in one place for a long time if you aren't actively doing anything.Keep movements to a minimum when interacting with others.Try not to make any movements. If you see a book falling off a desk, don't try to catch it.Unless someone asks you to, you wouldn't pick it up.If you don't move as much when you get a moment to yourself, you may get muscle aches and cramps, so do some light stretching.
Step 8: Walk at a steady pace.
The robot can't move quickly or fluidly.Walk slowly and mechanically when moving around. If you want to act like a robot, running or doing anything remotely athletic is out of the question. It's important to keep your movements consistent.Hold your arms at your sides while keeping your strides a uniform length.
Step 9: Maintaining good posture and moving body parts independently.
Move your arm if you need to use it.If you have to keep your other limbs, try to.Try to keep your body straight.Since robots only have one upright posture, a robot wouldn't be able to slump into a chair.
Step 10: Do the same basic movements over and over.
Humans have a lot of movements that they can make. These movements are made the same way over and over again.Repetitive motion is good for the robot since they never get bored or tired.Unlike walking, which should be slow, robots can make their repetitive movements very quickly.
Step 11: Smooth movements and gestures are not recommended.
Most of your movements are mechanical.Smooth movements and graceful gestures are not very robot-like.Since that is a common robot movement, incorporate a few smooth movements.Make sure to be consistent with the movements you make.It may take a little practice to get it right if you practice mechanical movements in front of a mirror.
Step 12: Body parts are isolated to make them dance.
In robot dancing, body parts are isolated so that they can move in a mechanical way.To start, stand in place and move your hands almost like a mime would a few times, and then stop with them in the middle of the air.The effect is very mechanical-looking if you bend at the torso to lean forward stiffly, then back, forward, and back again. There is a basic concept behind robot dancing.Experiments include isolating other body parts and making stiff, mechanical movements, adding different elements one after the other.Wrist rolls are used in robot dancing. You should include those in between your isolation movements. You can add a robotic open-and-close element to your isolations by opening and closing your palms.
Step 13: It is a good idea to pick neutral colored clothing.
If you can, wear blacks, whites, grays and silver. You don't want anyone to notice your clothes.Silver is the best choice because most robots are made of metal. The exception of gold metals is C3PO.You should choose clothing that draws attention to your angles. There is no emphasis on the clothing of humanoid robots. It is usually a basic outfit.Don't wear patterns, like plaids or polka dots, or graphic T-shirts with designs on the front.Wear plain clothing. If you have any styles with shoulder pads in your closet, give them a try. They will make you a box-like shape.
Step 14: Wear the same thing every day.
Since robots don't change clothes, you need to keep it consistent. While you are acting like a robot, it will be your uniform.Make sure that whatever you choose, the clothing doesn't affect your ability to make movements.
Step 15: stiffen your hair by applying metallic makeup.
A light application of shimmery silver eye makeup is suggestive without being completely obvious.Light blue makeup has a similar effect. It's a good idea to shape your hair into a basic style. It isn't very robot-like to keep it from moving and blowing around. There is a metallic silver make up on the bridge of your nose.If you want to give yourself a plastic-like sheen, apply a little bit of petroleum jelly to those areas. You can also paint your nails with metallic silver. It is another small touch that makes you feel like a robot.
Step 16: You should avoid accessories and other human behaviors.
There is no need for jewelry, watches, sunglasses or regular eyeglasses for the robot. If you own contact lenses, wear them instead of your eyeglasses.Do not do things like chewing gum, shifting your weight, tapping your toe impatiently, coughing, clearing your throat, giggling, and so on.
